In Loving Memory

 

Mr. John Maciulis "Big John" born January 6, 1920, a long time resident of Catt Line in Aylmer passed away at his latest residence of 4 years at Elgin Manor, St. Thomas. John was a Proud Lithuanian & Dedicated Tobacco Farmer most of his life, enjoying winters in Miami Beach. Faithful Member of St. Casimir's Lithuanian Catholic Church in Delhi and was a Member of the Army Navy League in Simcoe and of the Baltic Veterans League of Canada. John leaves behind his loving daughter, Floretta Skudder (Jerry) and stepson Edward Maciulis (Hedi), godson Rimus Miknev (Lisa) and a number of grandchildren & great- grandchildren. John was the last of his generation. Predeceased by his wife Helen (Albright) (2006), his daughter Irene (Kunii) (2004), son-in-law Osamu (2016), stepson Arnold (2003), daughter-in-law, Erica (2017) and by six sisters & three brothers in Lithuania.  Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (mfh.care) for visitation on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel on Monday at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Msgr. John Staskevicius officiating. Interment in Delhi Cemetery. Donations to the St. Casimir's Lithuanian Church Fund, Delhi or to the Elgin Manor, St. Thomas (Recreation Department) will be gratefully appreciated by the family. The Family wish to extend a Special Thanks for the excellent care of John by all the staff at Elgin Manor, St. Thomas.
