Obituary of Frank Ebdon
In Loving Memory
Mr. Frank “Sonny” Ebdon of Delhi, passed away at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at the age of 85. Sonny was a Proud Member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #125, Delhi for over 64 years. Always the avid sportsman, Sonny played basketball before & after high school for many years, and loved following his two favourite basketball teams the L.A. Lakers and the Toronto Raptors. He was very active with the Delhi Minor Hockey Association and was a devoted, Toronto Maple Leafs fan. Sonny also loved his golf, being a Member of the Delhi Golf & Country Club for over 45 years. Beloved husband of Maureen (Draper) Ebdon. Loving father of Kim VanDaele (Dan), Rory Ebdon (Alison) and Scott Ebdon (Tracey). Cherished grandfather of four grandchildren: Chad, Blake, Jarred, Jade (Zack), Clayton (Late 2003) and great-grandfather of Theodore and Pasilee. Dearest brother of Jeff Ebdon (Linda) and will be sadly missed by his six nephews: Bryan, Brett, Brad, Rick, Rob and Sean. Predeceased by his parents Frank (1991) & Nina Ebdon (2000) and by his three siblings: Phyllis Howick (2015), Josephine VanParys (2013) and Joan Drinkwater (1984).
