Obituary of Brenda Travale (Gregor)

Mrs. Brenda Travale of Delhi passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Thursday, November 21, 2019. Brenda walked home into the arms of her Saviour and left behind the wheels that confined her on this earth at the age of 67. A real spitfire from the start, she was a preemie welcomed into the world by her parents Steve & Stella Gregor (Severnuk) and was a new playmate for her brother Julien, surviving of Simcoe.  Brenda was dedicated to helping people and enjoyed her work at Norview Lodge until a car accident in 1981 changed the trajectory of her life forever. A single Mom, Brenda raised her two children in Delhi and became well known as a dedicated Mother, a good friend and a neighbour you could count on. Brenda and the love she poured into taking care of her family and her meals, preserves & baked goods will be earnestly missed by her children Steven Travale (Cathy) and Deanna Davidson (Doug). The presence of Grandma will forever be felt by her grandchildren; Landon, Stella and Rowan Davidson each time they spot the golden arches. No Christmas will be quite the same without something from Grandma Claus. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (mfh.care) for visitation on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Karl Allen officiating. Interment in Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Cemetery, Charlotteville. Donations to the Purrfect Companions of Norfolk or the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
