Obituary of Donna Bouw
In Loving Memory
Mrs. Donna Bouw, formerly of Delhi, passed away at the Cedarwood Village Nursing Home, Simcoe on Monday, August 24, 2026 in her 75th year. Donna worked on the tobacco farm alongside her husband, Bill, for many years. She later returned to school and became a Registered Nurse. She spent the majority of her nursing career working in long-term care before eventually retiring from Caressant Care in Courtland. Donna’s compassion and willingness to help others also extended to all animals, but she had a special place in her heart for cats. She cherished the love and companionship of many cats throughout her life. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, travelling, going on shopping trips with her girl friends and enjoying lake life at the cottage in Turkey Point. As her grandkids got older, she enjoyed spending her evenings and weekends watching them play lacrosse, soccer and hockey. Donna will be remembered by her love for her family, friends and all animals. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, Nana, a caring nurse, and a loyal friend. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Former Donna Edith Partridge. Beloved wife of William Bouw for 55 years. Loving mother of Barry Bouw (Michelle) and Wendy Bouw Gee. Cherished Nana of Brady, Blake and Callum. Dearest sister of Sheila Racz (Bob) and Sharon Mudge (Fred). Predeceased by her parents, Harold and Thelma Partridge. Loved sister in law of Jane Bouw (Late Ed), Jenny Bouw (Late Peter), Al Bouw (Pam), Kees Bouw (Kathy) and Marius Bouw (Frances), and the Late John Bouw and John Racz. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and many great friends. Family and Friends are invited to the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Delhi on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Delhi Cemetery. Memorial Donations to the Purrfect Companions of Norfolk (PCON), the Alzheimer’s Society, or the Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
