Mrs. Bonnie Braun formerly of Otterville passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 in her 80th year. Bonnie Jean Braun lived a life defined by quiet strength, generous love, and an unwavering devotion to her family. She was a devoted wife to Robert Braun (who preceded her in death) and a loving mother to Bobby (who also preceded her in death), David, Amanda, and Bryan. A valued member of the farming community in Otterville, she was known for her warm smile, ready laugh, and the way she made everyone feel welcome. Bonnie found great joy in traveling—especially her trips to Mexico—playing bingo, and, above all, spending time with her family. She created lasting memories through shared adventures, laughter around the table, and the simple pleasure of being together. Though she is no longer with us physically, her legacy lives on in the love she poured into her family, the countless phone calls and conversations we shared, and the steady support and strength she always gave us. We celebrate the beautiful life she lived and carry her spirit forward in the way we love and care for one another. Former Bonnie Jean DeFauw. Beloved wife of the Late Robert “Bob” Braun (1999). Loving mother of David (Claire), Bryan (Cassie) and Amanda. Cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren: Joel, Travis, Meaghan, Peyton, Addison, Claudia, Tyson (Emmelee), Maja (Josh), Sean, Dakota, Blake, Ashely (Jordon), Devon and three great-grandchildren Dhalia, Abigail and Olivia. Dearest sister of Mary Heye (Noel), Judy Franks (Bill) and the Late Jerry DeFauw (2008) (Late Kay 2019). Also survived by several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Predeceased by her son, Bobby Braun (2023). Friends & Family are invited for Bonnie’s Celebration of Life at the Tillsonburg Community Centre - Lions Den Room (45 Hardy Avenue) on Saturday, August 22, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Private Family Inurnment in Tillsonburg Cemetery.
