Obituary of Jeffrey Cook

In Loving Memory

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jeff “Farmer” Cook of Delhi, who passed away suddenly at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Sunday, August 2, 2026 at the age of 62.  Farmer was born in Simcoe, Ontario on December 3, 1963. He was a dedicated and hard worker his whole life. Farmer loved driving the tow truck, and if you couldn’t find him in the tow truck, you would find him outside tinkering on something. He was very well known by everyone and a big talker. You couldn’t take him anywhere without chatting with somebody.  Farmer is survived by his loving wife, Lynda, by his sons Ken (Sadie) and Chris (Amy), and by his step-daughters, Mindy Bennett (Tyler) and Jamie Smethurst (Anthony). Cherished grandfather of Willow Cook (Jake), Aubree Bennett, Carly and Dean Smethurst and two great grandchildren. Farmer is also survived by his sister, Joanne Zerbes (Randy), by his brother Jason Cook (Shawne), by his dad’s partner, Helen Lord, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his dad, Elden "Cookie" Cook. As per Farmer’s wishes, there will be a Private Family Service.
