In Loving Memory

Mrs. Karen Blizman of Delhi passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Victoria Hospital in London on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, in her 68th year. Karen loved her family more than anything. She enjoyed spending her days on the potato farm with Bob and their boys and cherished every moment with her grandchildren. She was always willing to do anything for her family, no matter the time or circumstance. Karen loved family celebrations and gatherings, where she created many treasured memories with those she loved. She also loved being near the water, whether at their trailer in Turkey Point or in Florida by the beach. Karen will be remembered as a genuine and caring person with a wonderful sense of humour. Much loved daughter of the late Rachel (VanDamme) and Joseph DeVos; daughter-in-law of Ann (Bari) and the late Steven Blizman. Much loved wife of Bob for 48 years and proud and loving mother of Steven and Brad (Stephanie) Blizman. Cherished grandmother of Hayden, Nathan, Alex and Noah. Dearest sister of Diane Steiner (Joe), Gary DeVos (Uta), Mary Lou Lambert (Terry), Ken DeVos (Marj) and Sherry Gignac (Ted). Loved sister-in-law of Larry and Wilma Blizman and Ed Blizman. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends, neighbours and relatives are invited to attend a public visitation on Monday, July 6th, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care). A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Delhi on Tuesday, July 7th, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Donations to Diabetes Canada or the Charity of your choice will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
