Obituary of Ronald Klein
In Loving Memory
Mr. Ronald Klein of Delhi passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Thursday, June 18, 2026 in his 76th year. A lifelong educator, Ron left an indelible mark on his students, his colleagues, and his community. Beloved husband of Bev (Hudson) Klein. Loving father of Kevin (Amy). Cherished Gramps of Benjamin, Elliot and Quinn. Predeceased by his parents: William & Marjorie; his step-father Rodney Nunn; his in-laws: Harold & Annie Hudson, brothers-in-law Michael Duffy and Robert Phillips, his sister-in-law Pauline Lee, and his nephew Rob Phillips. Survived by his sisters, Suzanne and Bunny, and several nieces & nephews. Ron began his teaching career at Our Lady of LaSalette before serving as vice-principal at Sacred Heart and St. Joseph’s, and then principal at St. Frances Cabrini retiring as principal at Our Lady of LaSalette, where Ron often said he had come full circle. Ron always put community first. From coaching Kevin’s youth soccer team to operating the snack bar at the ball diamonds, Ron always found a way to be of service. Upon his retirement, he stayed active through the Boards of the Delhi Tobacco Museum & Heritage Centre, and the Norfolk Public Library. For many who know him, the expansion of the Delhi Branch of the library through his dedication and commitment to the Friends of the Library will always be a part of Ron’s legacy, which saw him named Citizen of the Year in 2018 by the Delhi & District Chamber of Commerce. Ron’s happiest moments were with his family, especially his grandchildren, sharing stories and playing games. A quiet man, he had a knack for sharing words of wisdom and lessons learned in his unique ways. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, colleagues and anyone who was lucky enough to know him. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations can be made to the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation or the Delhi Community Health Centre through the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) and will be greatly appreciated by the family. As per Ron’s request, a Private Family Service will be held with Inurnment in Delhi Cemetery.
