Obituary of Beverly Zehr

Mr. Beverly “Bev” Zehr of Norwich, passed away at the Woodstock Hospital, on Monday, June 15, 2026 in his 77th year.  Bev was an avid craftsman in woodworking and solving puzzles. He enjoyed watching his Toronto Maple Leaf’s Hockey Team whenever he could, but most of all, Bev relished in making people laugh as he was quite the Jokester. Beloved husband of Simonne (Patenaude) Zehr. Loving father of Linda Reid (Shaun), Sandra Cunningham (Monty) and Catherine Zehr (Late Dan Rear, 2010). Cherished grandfather of Cassandra (Steven), Carley, Kya (Max), Sirea and great grandfather of Oakley, Emerson and Grace. Dearest brother of Donna Durst (Late Tony), Gordon Zehr (Lois), Debbie Ellwood (Brian), Late Ron Zehr (2022) and Allan Zehr (Katrina). Also survived by several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Friday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Lynedoch. Donations to the Campfire Circle (Camp Trillium), the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
