In Loving Memory

Mr. John Prohammer of Norwich, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, May 14, 2026 in his 95th year. John was a kind and gentle man who loved his family unconditionally. He was an avid reader of news, nature, history and politics. John also worked hard but placed value in simple things like time with his family, feeding ‘his’ birds or spoiling the chipmunks. He is survived by his beloved wife of 72 years, Caroline (Schloegl) Prohammer. He was a loving father to Lynda Clark and a supportive father in law to her husband, Jim. He was the cherished Opa of Laura Clark (Jay) and Adrienne Clark (Joel) and a doting ‘Great’ 'Opa of A.J. and Quinn. Also survived by two sisters and two brothers and by many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Predeceased by two brothers and five sisters.  As per John’s request, a Private Family Funeral Service will be held with Interment in Delhi Cemetery.
