Obituary of Camiel Duwyn Sr.

Mr. Camiel Duwyn, Sr. of Tillsonburg, passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital, on Monday, May 4, 2026 in his 91st year. Former Member of the Donny Brook Fair Board, Walsh and the Moose Lodge No. 1827, Simcoe. He enjoyed playing cards at the Ingersoll Seniors Centre.  Beloved husband of the Late Joyce (Mitchell) Duwyn (1995). Loving partner of Verna Morris. Dear father of Camiel Duwyn Jr. (Wendy), John Duwyn (Steve) and Edward Duwyn.  Cherished grandfather of Alisha (Kenneth), Brooke (Stepfen) and Nicole (James) and great grandfather of Alexander, Charlotte and Halley.  Also survived by his sister, Mary Ann Pieters (George) and by his brother, Richard Duwyn (Kathryn). Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Monday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. with Deacon Andy Alway officiating. Interment in Delhi Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre (LHSF) will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
