Obituary of Robert Cook
In Loving Memory
Mr. Robert “Bob” Cook of Delhi, passed away at the St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton on Thursday, March 26, 2026 in his 78th year. Bob was a Faithful Volunteer Firefighter for Station 1, Delhi from 1976 to 1991. He loved hunting and NASCAR but his pride and joy was his 1967 Pontiac GTO. Bob was a very loving and generous man, always helping others, especially to ‘his’ girls. Beloved husband of 53 years to Odile (Pinnoy) Cook. Loving father of Miranda Cook and Megan McCutchen (Shaun). Cherished “Bobpa” of Emma. Dearest brother of Alice VanGoethem, Marion Secord (John), Josie Walsh (Late Donald), Kathy Sherman (Late Don) and Violet Dewhhirst (Bob). Sadly, missed godfather of Charlotte, Bobby and Teddy. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, in laws and friends. Predeceased by his parents: Arthur (1968) & Gladys Cook (2007) and siblings: William Cook (1951), Grace Howick (2015) (Late Murray) and James Cook (2021). The family wish to extend a Special Thank You to Dr. Jeff Tschirhardt and staff, the staff in the Nephrology Unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton and to the staff and volunteers at the Mark Preece House.
