In Loving Memory
Mrs. Margaret “Margie” Barron of Delhi, passed away at her home with all her family there to comfort her on Friday, February 20, 2026 in her 78th year. Margie, as she was known to everyone, was a retired RPN (Registered Practical Nurse) at the Norfolk General Hospital for 37 years. Her grandchildren were the love of her life and she spent as much time as she could with them. Former Margaret Ann Ford. Beloved wife for 54 years of Jack Barron. Loving mother of John and Geoffrey (Shannon). Cherished “Gram” of Aidan and Alexis whom she so proudly and dearly cherished. Dearest sister of Fran Ford (Shirley) and “Hoppy” Rosemary Empey (Late Keith) and sister-in-law of Darlene Ford, Joe Barron and Jill Smith (Bert). Loving aunt to Becky Pollard (Doug) and their sons Jakeob, Owen Gouliger & Shaleen Pollard and aunt to Carissa Lundmark (Lonnie) and their daughters, Hailee & Meagan. Also survived by many other nieces and nephews both locally and in northwestern Ontario. She will be so deeply missed by her loyal and devoted shih Tzu dog, Gabbi. Predeceased by her parents, Bob & Marie Ford and by her brother, Bob Ford (2020). Respecting Margaret’s wishes, a Private Family Service will take place with Inurnment in Evergreen Cemetery, Lynedoch. The family will gratefully appreciate Memorial Donations to the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation or to the Stedman Community Hospice, Brantford can be made at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) who have been entrusted with Margie’s arrangements. The Family would like to Thank the Norfolk General Hospital, Juravinski Cancer Clinic, the Brantford General Hospital Cancer Unit Staff, Dr. Sinkowski, Celia Robinson (Nurse Practitioner), Paramed PSWs (especially Aman), Care Partners’ Palliative Care nurse Melissa Johnson, Dr. Malo and Ontario Health at Home’s Abby Wark who supported Margie’s journey with care and compassion.
