Obituary of Rose Pettit
In Loving Memory
Mrs. Rose Pettit, formerly of Delhi, passed away at the London H.S.C., Victoria Hospital, on Friday, February 13, 2026 in her 93rd year. It is with great sorrow that we acknowledge the passing of our dear mother, Rose Marie, daughter of the Late Redmond Kinchsular (1964) and Flora Furlong (1965). Predeceased by her beloved husband of 63 years together, William "Bill" Pettit (2016). Dearest mother of Frederick (Pierrette), Michael and Wayne. Grandmother to Shawn (Amber), Jeffery (Rebecca), Alisha (Jonathan), Cassandra & Dustin & great-grandmother to Jack, Luke, Kayson, William, Everett, Beau, Therin, Thea, Abigail and Predeceased by Noah (2013). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Rose was predeceased by her siblings Jack (2010), Marion (1988), Jean (2007) and Helen (2022) and has one brother alive Bill Kinch. Rose belonged to many charitable organizations locally and executive positions on many Boards (too many to mention). A special thanks to Susan VanMoerkerke-Pettit for all her help and support during this difficult time. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Church, Delhi on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 12:30 p.m. Interment in Delhi Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
