Obituary of Patricia DeBruyne
In Loving Memory
Mrs. Patricia DeBruyne, formerly of Delhi, passed away peacefully with her family at her side at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, February 7, 2026 in her 84th year. Patricia graduated from Alma College and began teaching; a career she truly enjoyed. She later spent many years farming tobacco with her husband, Andre, a chapter of her life marked by a strong work ethic, dedication, and a deep sense of accomplishment in the life they built together. Patricia found great joy in gardening, nature, and feeding the birds and squirrels; but more than anything, she cherished her family, sharing her whole heart and life with them, for which she will always be lovingly remembered. She took immense pride in her family’s accomplishments and celebrated their successes with joy. Beloved wife of the Late Andre DeBruyne (2019). Loving mother of Dwayne (Cynthia), Darryl (Sajia) and David (Nicole) DeBruyne. Cherished grandmother of Jenna Elsley (Josh), Kennedy DeBruyne (Cole) and Alissa DeBruyne (Will). Dearest sister of Cheri Huyge (Late Peter, 2022). Also survived by several nieces, nephews & cousins. Predeceased by her parents, Katharine (Onifrichuk, 1997) and Nelles Arthur (2002). Per Patricia’s wishes, the Family will remember her with a Private Celebration of Life with Inurnment in Delhi Cemetery.
