Obituary of Deborah Baskerville
In Loving Memory
Mrs. Deborah Marie (Delano) Baskerville passed away on January 12 at 11:06 p.m. at Norfolk General Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones. She died in her 72nd year. Deborah loved all animals, as she and David dedicated their lives to rescuing dogs. Their fur babies provided great comfort for her. She also had a passion for collecting Depression glass, refinishing antique furniture and music, especially the Bee Gees, which brought her great joy. She was a wonderful cook and loved to bake. She treasured family memories of Christmases and gatherings in her healthier days. Though Deborah suffered from chronic pain and illness, she never wanted to burden anyone and remained a force of positive influence. Her love and devotion to her family and the animals she cared for will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Deborah was the beloved wife and soulmate of David Ede for 39 years. Loving mother of Denise Robertson (Greg) and Greg Baskerville (Deanna). Cherished Nanny of Ashlee, Kirsten, Tatiana and Tegan. Also survived by her siblings, Eric and Cathy and by her mother, Sheila May. Predeceased by her father, Albert Delano (2004). A Private Family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial Donations to the Simcoe and District Humane Society can be made through the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) and will be greatly appreciated by the family.
