Obituary of Paula Pecceu

Mrs. Paula Pecceu formerly of R.R.#2, Delhi passed away at the PeopleCare, Delhi Long Term Care, on Thursday, December 25, 2025 in her 94th year. Former Paula Lia Maes. Beloved wife of the Late Gerard Pecceu (1991).  Loving mother of Jerry Pecceu (Veerle).  Cherished grandmother of Carla, Erin (Ryan) and Elizabeth.  Predeceased by her five siblings: Achiel Maes, Godelieve Pecceu, Rachel VanDaele, Maria Pecceu and the Late Andrea Dendauw. Also survived by her brother & sister-in-laws and several nieces & nephews in Belgium, Canada and the US. Paula & Gerard were Married in 1955 and immigrated to Canada where they grew tobacco in the Delhi area until their retirement. Former Member of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Women’s League, the Belgian Ladies Auxiliary, the Delhi Horticultural Society and the Delhi Friendship Centre. As per Paula’s wishes, a Private Family Funeral Service will be held with Interment in Delhi Cemetery.
