Phillip Ellery Wayne Engell

After a courageous, hard fought battle with leukemia, Phil passed peacefully on December 24th, 2025. Married to Marlene (Kramer) for 62 years, father of 4, grandfather to 10, great grandfather. Phil was a pillar of the community, larger than life, some would even say legendary. Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Uncle, Grandfather, Mentor and Friend. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Sunday, January 4, 2026 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, January 5, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Walsh United Cemetery. Donations to the Walsh Baptist Church, Memorial Fund will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
