Mr. Gary Ogilvie of Ingersoll passed away at the Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 in his 67th year. Gary had a deep love of history and could often be found enjoying a quiet game of solitaire, listening to classic rock—especially the Beatles—or spending time outdoors camping and fishing. He also loved to travel, making frequent trips to Montreal and Toronto, as well as taking spontaneous day and weekend getaways. A devoted sports fan, Gary cheered passionately for the Montreal Canadiens and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also had a special place in his heart for cats, and he will be reunited with King, Chris, Kelsey, and Jeepers. Beloved husband of Darlene VanBelle-Ogilvie. Loving father of Beau (Sarah), Garret (Emelien), Kara and Scott. Dearest brother of Angela Whitehead (Jay), Richard, Theresa and Jay Ogilvie, and brother-in-law of Angela Ogilvie. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Predeceased by his three brothers: John, Keith and Rob Ogilvie. Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life to be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #125 (Delhi) on Friday, December 12, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Memorial Donations to the London Health Science -Verspeeten Cancer Research Fund can be made at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) and will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
