Ms. Barbara Evans of Cedarwood Village, Simcoe, passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at age 93. Mom had a beautiful voice and loved to sing the old church hymns and could always be heard singing them throughout the day. Although she was born and raised in Kentucky, she moved to Canada and quickly made it her home. Former Barbara Othella Helton. Loving mother of Billy Asher (Frances). Cherished grandmother of Dorian Asher (Ashley) and great grandmother of Dominick. Dearest sister of Douglas, Janice and Carolyn. Predeceased by her brothers, Alvin, Charles, Clifton and Larry, and by her sisters, Doris, Beulah and Ruth. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Delhi Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Babbey officiating.
