Obituary of Armand VanDeVelde

In Loving Memory

Mr. Armand VanDeVelde of Delhi, passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Sunday, August 31, 2025 in his 92nd year. Armand & Jeanne loved to go out dancing together. His most favourite activity was fishing, particularly for pike and trout. Beloved husband of the Late Jeanne (Kerkhove) VanDeVelde (2011) and Dearest Companion of Kathy Abbey. Loving father of Arleen VanDeVelde (Chuck), Rick VanDeVelde (Annette) and Nancy Shepherd (Late Brad 2021).  Cherished grandfather of Cody (Shelby), Stephanie (Broady) and Samantha (Derrik) and great-grandfather of Noah. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Predeceased by his three siblings: Jocelyne Prevost (2025) (Yves), Liliane Michielsen (2025) (Late Andre) and Roger VanDeVelde. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life held in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment in Delhi Cemetery. Memorial Donations to the Delhi Community Health Centre will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
