Ms. Joyce Elaine Carter of London, passed away peacefully at her home at the Chartwell Riverside Retirement Residence, London on Sunday, August 17, 2025 in her 75th year. Joyce loved to go Camping and Traveling to many different locations. She enjoyed watching Curling and the Olympics on TV. She followed the Toronto Blue Jays & Maple Leafs. She was a collector of anything Scooby-Doo! and enjoyed watching their Classic Cartoon Compilations. Joyce and Donna spent many a good time up at their trailer in Bayfield, Ontario. Many of us had the privilege to camp with them there and share a campfire. Loving sister of Neil Carter. Cherished aunt of Edie, Ian, Andrea (Darren), Nicholas and Jacob and great-aunt of Jim, Isabella, Alyssa, Noah and Arabella. Also survived by her uncle, John Groen (Late Marg). Predeceased by her parents, Harry (1999) & Andrea Carter (2018) and by her dearest companion, Donna Goodman (2007) and by her sister Nancy Chartrand (2016). Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 12:00 noon followed by a Funeral Service held in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Delhi Cemetery. Donations to the C.N.I.B. or the Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
