Mr. Richard West of Simcoe, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, June 16, 2025 in his 63rd year. Beloved husband of the Late Jeannie (Jonckheere) West (2022). Loving father of Chasity Brindley and Orion Kaskiw. Cherished grandfather of Abbigale "Ashe", Peyton-Ava and Lydia-Jane "Jacqueline". Predeceased by his daughter, Alison Jonckheere (2022). A Special Mohawk Funeral Service was held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Six Nations of the Grand River, Longhouse. Inurnment in Delhi Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Delhi on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial Donations to the E.D.S. Canada Foundation or to Campfire Circle (Camp Trillium) can be made through the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) and will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
