In Loving Memory
Mr. William Sewell of Tillsonburg, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family at the Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 in his 83rd year. He will be deeply missed by his Beloved wife of 57 years, Sarah ‘Sallie’ Sewell with whom he shared a beautiful and enduring love. His memory will live on in the hearts of his three children: Sean (Anne Marie), Dan (Arlene) and Casey (Katie) and his Treasured grandchildren: Christian (Kristin), Jennifer, Michael, Macy (Lewis), Morgan, Ella and Grace. His love, warmth and steady presence will be forever cherished. Loving brother of Linda Harris (Late Gerry, 2016) and Michael Sewell. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Bill’s deep love for his family and his passion for travel defined his years after retirement, along with his lifelong fascination with trains – a hobby that brought him great joy and wonder. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Delhi at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Vanessa Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Donations to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society would be deeply appreciated, in honour of Bill’s memory and enduring spirit. The family extends a heartfelt thanks to the Compassionate Staff at Joseph Brant Hospital for the exceptional care & kindness they showed our father in his final weeks.
