Obituary of Grant Matthews

In Loving Memory

 

In sadness we announce the sudden passing of Grant Matthews, of Delhi, on Saturday, March 1, 2025 in his 75th year. Grant is predeceased by parents the Late Hazel (Burton 2006) and Fred Matthews (2009). Beloved brother to Garnet (Brenda), cherished uncle to Jeff (Sarah) and great uncle to Hannah, Adam, Max and Adelle. Grant enjoyed curling in Norwich, playing in the Norwich Band and participating in lawn bowling. Grant was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs Fan. He was an Active Member of the First Baptist Church and enjoyed attending & volunteering with the congregation. Grant never missed a birthday or family gathering. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Wednesday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. to share in fellowship & memories.  A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.  Private Family Interment in Delhi Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Donations to the Delhi First Baptist Church or the Charity of your choice will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
