Obituary of Jack Elliott

In Loving Memory

Mr. Jack Elliott, of Delhi, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Delhi Long Term Care Centre, on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 in his 91st year. Jack was a Farmer through and through, referred to himself “as a simple old dirt farmer” and kept the family tradition going strong on their family farm. The Elliott farm, established in 1860 has now been active for over 150 years, with Jack being the 5th generation to accept the challenge. Jack spent most of his time farming and tending to crops, only breaking to enjoy quality time with family, friends and neighbours. Beloved husband of the Late Kathy (Lalone 2024) for over 69 years. Loving father of Patricia & Scott, Mark & Heather and Cindiann & Will. Cherished grandfather of several grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Dearest brother of Roger & Diane. Predeceased by his two sons, Jack (1978) and Robert (2022), by his parents, Wilton (1993) & Margaret (Tomlinson 1990) and by his sister, Shirley (1999) & Ron Graham (1997) and by his brother, Donald (2022) & Pat. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 12:00 noon until time of Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Delhi Cemetery.
