Mr. Roger Couckuyt of Delhi passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, June 14, 2019 in his 82nd year. Roger was a Member of the Delhi District German Home. He enjoyed many sports including golfing, curling, bowling and watching the New York Yankees play baseball. Beloved husband of Marianne (Smithson) Couckuyt. Loving father of the Late Michael Couckuyt (1986). Cherished brother of Mary Beselaere. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Predeceased by his first wife Marian Utter (1969), and by his brother Eric Couckuyt (1998) and by his brother-in-law Albert Beselaere (2014). Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (mfh.care) for visitation on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and for Parish Prayers said at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Delhi on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Lucio X. Couto officiating. Interment in Delhi Cemetery. Donations to the Delhi Community Health Centre, the Alzheimer Society or the Who Did It Club will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
